Poway Days Parade 2011
This is a fun family event that will take place on
Saturday, September 10th - Arrive at 8:00am 9am for spectators Everyone is invited to participate. This includes you moms and dads! |

POWAY DAYS PARADE- September 10th at 8:00am
* The parade marches down Poway Rd. East from Pomerado Rd. to Bowron Rd.
* We will need plenty of adult volunteers to march with our dancers and help with water.
* This year's parade theme is "Honoring Those Who Serve". Red, White, and Blue wagon decorations, Military Parents in uniform, and American Flags are appropriate : )
Parade Supplies Needed-
* Participants will need a Pink World Dance n Arts T-Shirt and Black Shorts.These are available for purchase at the Studio. Please pick up before 8pm on Friday, Sept. 9th.
* Cushioned Tennis Shoes, Sunscreen, Water, Healthy Snacks.
* Please bring your own wagons for little ones who may not be able to walk the whole parade route. Feel free to decorate your wagons in a patriotic theme. Have Fun!
* Fun ribbon sticks will be provided for dancers who are marching in the parade.
Day of Parade
* Meet at 8:00am near corner of Pomerado Rd. and Stowe Dr. Look for our pink shirts : ) WDA will receive a participant number, (announced closer to showtime). Please eat a good breakfast beforehand and bring healthy food to snack on. Parade starts at 9am for spectators.
*Roads start closing at 7:30am, so please make arrangements to arrive early and find parking or drop-off.
*Please pick up dancers immediately after parade in the Dixieline Lumber parking lot. On the SW corner of Poway Rd. and Community Rd.
