We have exciting news! Our new Zen Planner dancer member portal is now live. You can now access your account information from any computer or mobile device here: Member Connect Portal.

You will now be able to do the following in your dancer account:
  • Check In on your phone when you arrive (feature available on your mobile device only on the same day of your class).
  • Upload a dancer profile photo.
  • View your bills and payments.
  • Pay account bills.
  • Change your password.
  • View your attendance history.
  • View member forms and personal account documents.

Join us for the 2014 Heading For Hollywood Inner Beauty Pageant.

Open to boys & girls, 4-17yrs. No previous experience is necessary.  

Our Pageant Training Summer Camp Clinic includes professional instruction in acting, singing, dancing & pageantry.
 
Rehearsal Week is 8/4-8/8 and the Inner Beauty Pageant show will be held on Sunday, August 24th.

All contestants receive recognition and top winners have the opportunity to participate in the Poway Days Parade in September.

Registration begins 4/1/14 through 8/4/14.

Trip to Showstopper Dance Championships was An Exciting One.

Poway, CA--May 30, 2014--In Anaheim II last weekend, Academy of World Dance n Arts competed against dozens of dance studios from around the state and area for prestigious top honors at Showstopper, the largest Dance Competition in the Country.

Academy of World Dance n Arts received 2 double platinum awards, 17 platinum awards, and 20 gold awards. Congratulations!

Top honors include: 
  • ''Mohini'' received 3rd place overall in Teen Performance Large
  • ''Rangelo Mahro Dolna'' received 8th place overall in Junior Performance Large
  • ''Nagara Sang Dhol'' received 1st place overall in Senior Performance Large
  •  ''Nacho Re'' received 2nd place overall in Senior Performance Small
  • Jennifer Robbins received 1st place overall in Adult Performance Solo
  • Jenna Salvatore received 10th place overall in Junior Performance Solo
  • ''Sweet Dreams'' received 5th place overall in Junior Performance
    Duet/Trio
  • ''Harlem'' received 9th place overall in Teen Performance Small
  • ''Tribal Dream'' received 2nd place overall in Adult
    Performance Small
  • ''Cups'' received 3rd place overall in Adult Performance Small

WDA will have two performances this year at the San Diego County Fair: Sunday, June 29th and Sunday, July 6th from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.

The WDA Studio will not be open for classes Thursday, May 22nd through Tuesday, May 27th. See you all back in class starting Wednesday, May 28th.

Good Luck to all our competition dancers attending the Showstopper Competition!

Everyone is invited to the Disneyland Hotel Convention Hall to watch and support our dancers at the Showstopper Competition: May 23rd– May 26th. See you there!

Academy of World Dance n Arts Wins Big at the West Coast National Finals.

At the West Coast National Finals held July 18-22, 2012 in Anaheim, CA, Academy of World Dance n Arts competed against dozens of dance studios from around the country and area for prestigious top honors at Showstopper National Finals, the largest Dance Competition in the Country.
 
The World Dance n Arts Bollywood Performance Troupe, directed by Master Teacher - Ms. Shalini, competed in the Folkloric division and brought home a 1st Place Platinum award, a 1st Place Double Platinum award, as well as two overall competition awards- 1st Place Overall and 2nd Place Overall. The WDA Bollywood Performance Troupe attends multiple competitions and performs at many community events throughout the year.
