Trip to Showstopper Dance Championships was An Exciting One. Poway, CA--May 30, 2014--In Anaheim II last weekend, Academy of World Dance n Arts competed against dozens of dance studios from around the state and area for prestigious top honors at Showstopper, the largest Dance Competition in the Country. Academy of World Dance n Arts received 2 double platinum awards, 17 platinum awards, and 20 gold awards. Congratulations! Top honors include:
We are so proud of all our 2014 WDA competitors for their dedication and love of dance!   WDA will have two performances this year at the San Diego County Fair: Sunday, June 29th and Sunday, July 6th from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.

A huge thanks to all our WDA dancers for there awesome performance at Knott's Berry Farm on January 27th, 2013 and to our dance families, stagehands and volunteers for there support. The World Dance n Arts Bollywood Performance Troupe, directed by Master Teacher - Ms. Shalini, competed in the Folkloric division and brought home a 1st Place Platinum award, a 1st Place Double Platinum award, as well as two overall competition awards- 1st Place Overall and 2nd Place Overall. The WDA Bollywood Performance Troupe attends multiple competitions and performs at many community events throughout the year. |
