On Sunday, August 19th, 2012 at Old Poway Park in Poway contestants from North County competed in the Heading For Hollywood Inner Beauty Pageant hosted by the Academy of World Dance n Arts. Sara Newmiller (age 14) and Tamara Alsaied (age 8) were crowned Heading For Hollywood Queens.
All contestants enjoyed a fun one week pre-pageant training clinic that included professional instruction in acting, singing, dancing and pageantry.
